In partnership with Partners for Home as part of the City of Atlanta’s Continuum of Care (CoC), we provide Coordinated Entry Mobile Services to connect individuals experiencing homelessness with housing resources. Our team works to ensure our friends have access to the full range of housing options available within the city. |
CONNECT DESK Our Connect Desk is here to connect our walk-in friends with resources internally provided here at SafeHouse Outreach. When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by a resource guru – from clothing and hygiene, showers and laundry, lockers, mobile computer lab, telephone access, along with connecting to all our internal programs, they’re here to help you get started and connected. |
CONNECT TEAM “How can I help?” Our mobile Connect Team works to meet and assist our unsheltered friends at neighboring encampments, drop-in and warming centers, and bridges get connected with valuable resources including basic hygiene and nutrition, on-site case management identification navigation, SSI/SSDI and benefits navigation, employment training, transportation, and more – meeting them exactly where they are! Five steps: Relationship, Enrollment, Navigation, Housing, and Support. |
PROBLEM SOLVERS “How can I get you to the Next Level?” Our Problem Solvers are skilled case managers ready to assess and navigate an array of services for our walk-in friends. From identification, SNAP/EBT assistance, homeless verification letters, family reunification, medical and substance use referrals, or just someone to talk to – we've got your back! |
RAPID-REHOUSING

WELCOME HOME - Permanent Supportive Housing (by Dekalb CE referral only) Our Welcome Home program provides Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) for six single mothers with minor children who have a history of chronic homelessness, often compounded by challenges such as substance use, mental health struggles, or domestic violence. This long-term, housing-first approach focuses on unpacking the trauma of chronic homelessness and fostering housing stability, offering the comprehensive care and support necessary for lasting change. Whether you need assistance with short-term rapid re-housing, arrear rental and utilities, or eviction prevention, our financial assistance programs offer an array of case management and wraparound services to ensure our friends sustain housing. Please note financial assistance applications must be completed in-person. |
WORKREADY Our WorkReady program offers a hands-on, all-inclusive approach to helping our friends achieve meaningful and sustainable full-time employment. Through this apprenticeship-style initiative, participants gain valuable work experience by volunteering at SafeHouse Outreach while receiving comprehensive support to address employment barriers. Program features include resume building and interview prep, skill training, licensure reinstatement assistance, transportation, clothing, temporary shelter, and job fairs and networking opportunities. |
