Impact Services
Five nights a week at SafeHouse we host our Impact Service. Local churches, community organizations, and businesses join the SHO team to serve a meal to people living in extreme poverty in the downtown area. Meeting the immediate need is important, but what's more important is that we meet people in need and start a relationship. Then we encourage them to engage with SHO's programs on a deeper level. |
Mission Teams
SafeHouse hosts thousands of volunteers each year and many of these serve with mission teams. These groups range in size from 10 to 100+ individuals who come to downtown Atlanta for a day, a weekend, or a whole week. In that time they learn what life is like for people in extreme poverty and how SHO and our partners serve and help to impact those in need. |
Atlanta Guardian
While SafeHouse sees hundreds of individuals every week, we know that there are many people, even within our own neighborhood, who may not know who we are and what we do. Atlanta Guardian teams seek to meet individuals where they are in hopes that we can form relationships and encourage them to join us at SafeHouse and receive assistance. |
