Clothing (Seasonal): SHO provides clean and comfortable clothing to those in need.
Mail Services: Individuals are provided a secure mailing address.
Medical Services: Through a partnership with faculty members and students attending Georgia State University’s School of Nursing and Mercy Care, basic medical services, including foot maintenance and blood pressure screening, is offered twice each week.
Shelter from Elements: SHO is a Warming Center that welcomes those living on the streets whenever the temperature drops below 45 degrees. If it is raining outside, SHO affords guests a dry and safe place to stay, with restroom facilities.
Referrals: SHO makes referrals to other social service organizations to include medical or psychological, shelters, ID’s and other documentation so that they are able to apply for public assistance.
