Career Development Program

The Career Development Program is a holistic program that has been successful in assisting individuals complete their path toward self-sufficiency. It offers a comprehensive program to include job-readiness training, intensive case management, spiritual counseling, customized workshops, transitional and permanent supportive housing assistance and follow-up care.

Those admitted into the program have passed a drug test and are interviewed by professional caseworkers who evaluate the applicant’s ability to successfully complete the program. Participants attend numerous daily workshops that focus on decision making, stress management, health and nutrition, task management, improving financial credit, eliminating delinquent taxes, dealing with past criminal issues, etc. Before they are employed, they will be assigned tasks to perform designed to develop in them a sense of responsibility. Each CDP participant is assigned a case manager, and they receive one-on-one spiritual counseling.
