SafeHouse founder and President, Philip Bray, meets President Bush
at the White House in 2001. SafeHouse was named one of the top
Faith-Based organizations in the nation by the President.
Today Philip serves on the Faith-Based task force for the
State of Georgia and on the Advisory Council for the Commission on
Homelessness in downtown Atlanta.

Commission on Homelessness
SafeHouse Outreach serves as a
partnering agency for The 24/7 Gateway Center Commission on
Homelessness, the most significant collaboration of homeless service
providers in the city’s history The 24/7 Gateway Center is one of the
fundamental strategies of Atlanta’s Blueprint to End Homelessness.
“Most people now believe we can tackle this issue, “ said Atlanta Mayor
Shirley Franklin. The 24/7 Gateway Center project is the most
significant collaboration of homeless service providers in the city’s
history.
