Mentor a Child of an incarcerated parent

Fact: An estimated 8,000 children in Georgia have mothers or fathers who are currently in prison.

Result: 70% of these children will experience emotional or psychological problems as a result of their absence.

Fact: On average a child will spend 6 years away from an incarcerated parent.

Result: These children are 6 times more likely than their peers to be incarcerated at some point in their lives.

These children need our help.

For about the same amount of time as the average commute in Atlanta one way, you can help break the cycle of incarceration.

All it takes is:
• 1-2 hours week
• 12 month commitment
