PROGRAM OVERVIEW
PURPOSE
  • Increase the ability of organizations to serve and meet social and community needs
  • Build, strengthen and grow the capacity of grassroots organizations in Georgia
PARTICIPANT ELIGIBILITY
  • Georgia based grassroots organizations serving GA citizens
  • Operating budget of $500,000 or less for 2009
  • Provide non-religious (CFR*45) services in priority areas *Code of Federal Regulations.
  • Demonstrated commitment to organizational growth and excellence
  • Focus counties include DeKalb & Fulton

  • Homeless
  • Elders in need
  • At-risk youth
  • Welfare to work families
  • Ex-offender reentry & children of prisoners
  • Substance abuse
  • Healthy marriage education and preparations services
